Spring is Here!!!
According to the Missouri Conservation Department, the creaky voices, purposeful strutting, and sassy courtship displays of common grackles tell us spring is coming!
The spring azure is one of our earliest spring butterflies, flying from March into May. They love wild plum blossoms.
The early spring wildflowers are coming up (I saw three today!) and the peeping, jingling choruses of spring peepers arise from small woodland pools.
Spring also means that we're close to kicking off 2022's first adventure!
